I was asked about how to stay motivated throughout a fitness journey. I then went deeper and found out they would go to the gym 5-6 days a week for a couple weeks, lose motivation, then give up. The cycle would continue, but results would not continue. I believe there’s too many people biting off more than they can chew. I’d love to see you working out 2-3 times per week, every single week, over a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. You can absolutely get to the gym 2-3 times each week for about 40 minutes a session. That’s so practical. I don’t care how busy you are, you do have the 1-2 hours per week to invest in your health. The person that works out twice per week over several decades will look and feel much healthier than the person that gets fired up to make a transformation when January 1st rolls around, goes hard for 3 weeks, then gives up completely. Intensity is king, but consistency is God.
